Delete Your Choregether Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your account and data for Choregether: Chores, Together, the family chore app published by Choregether for iOS and Android.

To request deletion of your Choregether account and all associated data, email [email protected] with the household name and the email address used to sign in.

How to request deletion

1. Open your email app and start a new message to [email protected].
2. Use the subject line “Delete my Choregether account”.
3. In the body, include your household name and the email address you use to sign in to Choregether.
4. If you want your entire household and all of its data deleted (not just your personal profile), say so in the email. This should be requested by the account holder.
5. Send the email. We'll confirm and complete the deletion within 3 days.

What data is deleted

When we process your request, we permanently delete the following data associated with your account:

• Household member profiles — names and avatars.
• Chore history and completion records.
• Points and landmark progress.
• Purchase and subscription records — Pro subscriptions and landmark pack purchases.

Retention period

We delete your account and all associated data from our active systems within 3 days of receiving your request. We may retain a limited set of records for longer only where we are legally required to do so (for example, to comply with tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations tied to purchase records); those records are deleted once the legal requirement no longer applies.

Deleting your profile vs. the whole household

If you're part of a household with other members, note that deleting your account removes your personal profile and data, but does not delete the household itself if other members remain active. To delete an entire household and all its data, the account holder should specify this in their deletion request.
